We don’t presume to have all the answers, and we choose to focus our resources where we think it will have the greatest impact. We do not wish to stand in the way of other worthy efforts to deal with this crisis.
Our belief, however, is that the best strategy to roll back anti-Zionist agitation on campus is to target the source of problem, which is the movement’s bogus intellectual foundation—the false but evidently extremely compelling argument that Israel is a European “settler colonialist” power that is subjecting the indigenous “Palestinians,” a “people of color,” to apartheid and genocide. This lie is the wellspring of all manner of “liberation” talk. It provides an allegedly moral justification for the most barbaric attacks on Israeli civilians. By destroying this dishonest intellectual foundation, we can cause today’s college students to at least question what they hear about Israel, and perhaps form their own opinions.
Key Principles:
- We will stop being on the defensive and let our enemies define the terms of the argument for us.
- We attack with (intellectually) lethal debunking of lies that fuel anti-Jewish hatred on campus.
- We focus on the faculty, not administrators. American students are learning to hate Israel in the classroom, from teachers they trust to tell the truth, but who abuse their positions of authority and lie about the Jewish state. Administrators are bureaucrats who want the problem to go away, so they make symbolic and insincere moves that do little to address the underlying problem causing it to gain power over students’ minds.
- We do not align ourselves with any American or Israeli political cause. For the sake of credibility and focus, we avoid referencing political messages or personalities.
